Application Manager                                                                                         2001  – Present

·         Team Leader providing tier 3 technical support for several e-commerce sites.

·         Managed 5 system engineers, providing support on the implementation and administration of the production systems used to deliver services over the Internet.

·         Developed a change management process to improve the responsiveness and accountability of the IT organization.

·         Technical Leader for the mission critical Web service.  Developed system requirements to support the Web application on a Windows 2000 Network Infrastructure.  The design included upgrading all DNS, WINS and DHCP services from Windows NT 4.0 Server to Windows 2000 Server.

Private Client Technology /Application Manager                                                   1996  – 2001

·         Project Manager for a full life cycle of technical service implementation for the ML Direct product, ensuring a smooth transition to operation staff for daily maintenance and support.

·         Network Team member: Designed a Windows 2000 Networking Services Infrastructure to support all internal devices. Design included upgrading all DNS, WINS and DHCP services from Windows NT 4.0 Server to Windows 2000 Server.

·         Rollout Administrator designing and developing the Windows 2000 Server migration plan for the corporation's file and print infrastructure. Plan included determining new functionalities, migration of user accounts and rollout issues within a mixed environment with Windows NT 4.0 and Windows 2000.

·         Technical Leader on a corporate wide software distribution project that encompassed 3,000 users, both front and back office.  Responsibilities included product evaluation and proof of concept testing of SMS 2.0.  After pilot, all software distribution functions and processes were turned over to a newly created software distribution group.

·         Technical Leader working closely with developers releasing new application versions into production and with the system support group coordinating backups and system hardware implementations.

·         Project Manager for thirteen products within the ML Direct Web based application.  Including such key products as the Enrollment, Customer Service, and Portfolio Tracking.

·         Technical Leader migrated 35 NT Servers to 100mb Ethernet for the Princeton location.  Maintained DHCP/WINS service availability on both sides of the network during conversion.  New Ethernet infrastructure consisted of 3com 100mb switches.  Supervised a staff of four support members to complete the 400 desktop Ethernet conversions.

·         Project Manager for a full life cycle Windows NT 4.0 Implementation and Migration to a single NT Domain project.

·         SMS Administrator deploying System Management Server to 30 Servers.  Providing basic installation, configuration, and maintenance of SMS on Windows NT 4.0 Servers.

·         Provided tier 2 supports for the SQL Server 7.0 application database. 

·         Team Leader in the planning and implementation of a comprehensive, integrated & auto-updating Anti-Virus solution using McAfee Virus Scan, Net Shield, Group Shield and Web Shield.

·         Backup Administrator implementing backup and recovery procedures with a disaster recovery and fail-over scenario.

·         Configured and implemented a new Windows NT 4.0 Domain that housed 100 Windows NT Servers, consisting of PDC’s, BDC’s and Resources domains.

·         Served as a backup Exchange administrator for two Exchange 5.5 servers supporting 400 users and 200 remote users.  Managed remote users coming in through RAS.
