My Decision making principles:

Principles to guide a manager's decision making process:

Logical    -  Make sure your decision is logically based upon facts and not emotion
Appropriate  -  Make sure your decision is appropriate in scale to the problem.  (While a sledge hammer may work to tap a nail into the wall, or to swat a fly, neither application is appropriate in scale to problem being addressed.)
Moral  -   Make sure your decision is moral.   Do not compromise your ethics, or ask someone else to do something unethical.
